ESSAY COMPETITION

ASEAN YOUTH IN THE MOVE: INNOVATION FOR INCLUSIVE AND SUSTAINABLE FUTURE

Requirements

  1. Participants are enrolled in undergraduate programs.
  2. Participants must register individually or a team (maximum 3 students)
Topics

In alignment with the theme “ASEAN Youth on the Move: Innovating for an Inclusive and Sustainable Future” the essay topics are:

  1. Youth-Led AI and Digital Innovation for Environmental Sustainability and Green Development in ASEAN
  2. Digital Entrepreneurship and Start-Up Ecosystems among ASEAN Youth
  3. Empowering Rural and Marginalized Communities through Digital Inclusion
  4. Women Empowerment and Youth Innovation through Digital Platforms
  5. Green Economy and Sustainable Business Innovation among ASEAN Youth
  6. Digital Transformation, Green Economy, and the Future of Sustainable Employment for ASEAN Youth in the Gig Economy Era
  7. AI, Big Data, and Smart Solutions for Social and Environmental Challenges in ASEAN
  8. ASEAN Youth Collaboration in Building Inclusive, Resilient, and Sustainable Communities
  1. Essays must be written in English.
  2. The essay should consist of 1,000–1,500 words.
  3. Manuscripts must use Times New Roman, font size 12, with 1.5
    line spacing.
  4. All submissions must be original and unpublished. The
    similarity index must not exceed 15%, as verified by Turnitin or
    an equivalent plagiarism detection tool.
  5. Final submissions must be submitted in PDF format.
  6. The essay submission must include the following components:
    1. Cover page (free design; no template required)
    2. Essay manuscript
    3. References
    4. Statement of originality (free format; no template required)
    5. Turnitin plagiarism report (maximum similarity index: 15%)
    6. Declaration of AI usage, clearly stating which sections or
      purposes involved the use of AI tools (if applicable)
